Statement about Chard Carnival 2021

We are planning to celebrate this years Chard Carnival. We still don’t know what we will be allowed to do yet, whether it will be a full blown procession through the town or a smaller event like last years.

Our intention is to put on an event that will respect the government guidelines at the time (October!) so that we can bring some colour and music to Chard for all to enjoy.

Obviously the carnival clubs have not been able to build or fundraise as usual but we hope we can provide something for them to showcase their many talents and so that they can get back to doing what they do best.
