03/10/22 - 6pm the Lighting of the beacon,
The committee arrived just after 4.30pm and started to set up.
Shortly after it started to rain a bit!
Claire, Zoe and Scott soon were busy preparing the Hot Chocolate

Shortly after 5.15pm - The first people who braved the weather came for a hot chocolate
Sophie the junior town crier came prepared
Just before 6pm, it had stopped raining and we had a bit of a crowd
6pm Sophie started the proceedings with a little poem
6pm the beacon was lit
Zoe, Jean and Scott took a well-deserved breather.
